10k Viewers Special: Shows that will changed my life forever

Hey all, I finally reached 10k views for the year, something I didn’t achieve last year. And also I hit 25k views in my all-time stats. Yay? Well, took a lot of effort, but at least it paid off.

Theme is: Shows that has changed my life forever. Well, simple title, let’s get things rolling. 10 shows in the list.

1.Nagi no Asukara

Review here.

Self-Reflection here.

Well. It’s kinda obvious. Massive salt rubbing with excellent animation quality to make me feel even worse. It’s so vivid that I will never forget that faithful day… where I became dead inside.

2. K-On!

Review in 2 days

Well… this is really freshen up my 14-16 year old days. It’s so pure, its so light-hearted, its so stupid of me to realize that I have not write a review yet. OH NO. I WILL WRITE ONE ASAP, DON’T WORRY.

3. Date A Live

Review Here

Well, this show can be too recent to call it a life-changer. but hey. Until now, I still watch it, for no reason. I don’t know why, I’m still addicted to this damn show. HELP ME. CALL A REHAB.

4. Sakura Trick

Review here

I WISH FOR MORE. This show really set a whole new standard for me watching Yuri shows. ITS SO GREAT, I NEED TO WATCH IT AGAIN.

5. White Album 2

Review here

I wish this show would adapt the final chapter too, because the ending was just a slight cliffhanger. The romance, the drama… AH MY CHEST HURTS SO BAD.

6. Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. and Ano Natsu de Matteru

Ano Hana Review here

Ano Natsu Review here

Why the two of them together? So similar character designs, similar staff. Both of them really changed my perspective about my school life and how I want to go back to change it for the better. Ano Hana is definitely better but I like Ano Natsu more, for how deep the romance develops and the ending that keeps lingering inside me.

7. Angel Beats, Kanon, Air, Clannad

Angel Beats Review here

Kanon (KyoAni) Review here

Air Review here

Clannad Review here

Why all 4? Maeda Jun. It’s just wonderfully made. Charlotte didn’t managed to make the cut. What’s funny is I watched them all during critical turning points of my life, except for Charlotte, probably why I feel that Charlotte didn’t make it. Why didn’t Little Busters make the list? J.C.Staff didn’t do a very good job.

8. Chobits, Kobato, Cardcaptor Sakura, Tsubasa Chronicle

Chobits Review here

Kobato Review here

Cardcaptor Sakura and Tsubasa Chronicle Reviews soon.

Why all 4 again? CLAMP. They changed my childhood, and never stop amazing me. Cardcaptor review after Clear Card ends and Tsubasa Chronicles review will happen sooner, probably, 12 more eps to go. Will watch Blood series and xxxHolic soon.

9. Hanasaku Iroha, True Tears

Hanasaku Iroha Review here

True Tears Review here

Why the both of them? Okada Mari. But doesn’t that put Sakurasou, Toradora and NagiAsu together? NagiAsu gave me a totally different impact and Sakurasou and Toradora didn’t felt as deep as these. I would pick True Tears over the two, for no reason. I don’t know why,  but I love True Tears a whole lot more. I might rewatch it again.

10. Mai-Hime, Mai-Otome

Both shows Review here

Probably one of the best “girls fight monsters” show of all time for me. Mai-Hime is the darker one, while Mai-Otome is the better one. I really love them both, I still rewatch them till this day.

Honorable Mentions: The ENTIRE Dragonball franchise, Shakugan no Shana, School Rumble.

Ok it’s more than 10 shows, but this shows my love and passion for the shows and the people behind the scenes. Hopefully you enjoyed this post.

Follow me on Twitch and Twitter!

Till next time. The next milestone will probably be my 300 days worth or 20k eps worth of anime completed. And as promised, K-on review will be up soon.

  1. Tsubasa!!!! Oh the good days 🙂 That was the first manga I ever collected and I still have all the individual volumes ^^ CLAMP is a wonder. I still need to watch Nagi Asakura but I’m not prepared for the despair. Have you seen Escaflowne and Wolf’s Rain?
