Words that are trying to be conveyed : Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda.

Good evening! Finally finished this 2 hour movie after so many issues with the subtitles.

From the team who made Toradora and AnoHana possible, they reunite again to make another depression-inducing movie. Nagai Tatsuyuki directing, Okada Mari writing, so much perfection.

One of the quite unique things is you will have a pretty silent main character in this movie. The story picks up and became serious as soon as the movie starts. Its calm most of the time, but it isnt boring, it does have some sweet little moments but the main plotline keeps throwing weights. Its reached its maximum at the climax and damn it sucks. Since I watched a lot of depressing shows this week, so it feels more heavy for me. The ending caught me by surprise as the coupling isnt exactly as what I expected and one of the pair was left unanswered. The ending didnt felt like a cliffhanger, it felt… complete, for some weird reason. Overall, it was a legitly depressing movie, but it didnt moved me as much as how Toradora and AnoHana ended.

Animations done by A-1 Pictures and they proved that they did it seriously. Character designs are a pretty similar to AnoHana and the quality is a bit better than AnoHana.

The music matches the movie nicely. The ED was pretty great, surprisingly by Nogizaka46.

VAs are nicely casted. Minase Inori, Amamiya Sora, Hosoya Yoshimasa, Uchiyama Koki, Ishigami Shizuka, Takahashi Rie, Makino Yui, Suwa Ayaka, Furukawa Makoto, Fujiwara Keiji, Kakuma Ai, Hayama Ikumi, Kubo Yurika. All of them are nicely done.

Story: 8.5/10

Art: 8.5/10

Music: 8/10

VAs: 8/10

Recommended. But it might not meet the expectations of some people.

Now Im left with Ano Natsu, not sure to do it now or tomorrow…
